I was craving ceviche and this spot happened to be right by the parking garage I was at. Looked up best ceviche and this place did not disappoint. But I'm goin g to be in SF today and they are closed on weekends? Super disappointed!!! I will definitely be back. I've been craving the ceviche ever since. The chicken was also super good. Cute little spot and good service.

Went there at lunch. It was really good! Everything we had was great. Ceviche was really good, not overly acidic. Empanadas were flavorful and crispy. Dishes were tasty as well. Small space, small crew, but cool right downtown.

One of San Francisco's true hidden gems. I think people often over use that term but in the case of La Fusion it's really appropriate - I've been coming here for over ten years and despite the food always being amazing it's never too difficult to get a seat at this place on any given night. It won't seem like much on entry. It's cozy and unassuming - a large bar dominates the space despite them mostly serving wine and sangria. The interior really doesn't really set you up for what you're about to experience. The food itself is an absolutely knock out. I don't think I've ever had anything at this place that I didn't love. The ceviche will be your first good sign: all of them are fresh and packed with flavor, particularly the seared tuna. The lomo saltado with its beef and fries is just a perfect comfort food combination. All of the soups they rotate through are some of the best I've ever had (particularly the mushroom-based one). But as I'm sure everyone else has pointed out, the real star of the show is the rotisserie chicken with the bread salad; obviously the chicken is juicy and falavorful but the rather unassuming sounding "bread salad" sits below the chicken soaking up all the juices and oh-my-god is it amazing. That chicken is easily one of the best meals you can have in San Francisco. Service is really nice and attentive, and the owner/chef clearly is usually working with a big smiling beam on his face suggesting that he knows he's bringing joy to everyone who visits his restaurant. This place is a MUST VISIT.

La Fusión was an amazing find by one of colleagues. This was suggested as a team outing since we finally have a full team now! They opened around 11:30, but to our surprise there was no line and no one at the restaurant at all. We were seated and greeted immediately by the manager and staff there. This is close by to Sajj Mediterranean! This is a smaller restaurant, but there are plenty of tables and chairs at the bar to enjoy everything. Everyone was super nice and friendly, and they made sure to go over the menu with us, as well as any specials they had. Water was being brought to our table before we ordered anything. I ended up getting the como saltado and that was $34. My team also ended up getting one of each empanada to share among us. Everyone else got the same item, or the rotisserie chicken. The como saltado was delicious! It was made fresh to order and I absolutely loved the flavors of this dish. You got chunks of tender, juicy beef with refreshing chunks of tomato and French fries! I typically have a love hate relationship with tomato's, but I ate everything UP. This does come with a bed of rice which was cooked perfectly. The only empanada I got to try was the seafood one. That one as delicious and I loved the outer shell, which was super crispy. Definitely a great starter to our meal. I'm not too sure how much we paid since our supervisor paid for our meal, but this is definitely on the list to come back again! Very pleased with our experience, the service, and how warm + inviting everyone is.
